About Brunswick Hotel Hobart
Then and Now
The Brunswick Hotel Hobart was established only 20 years after European Settlement and is now the oldest operating example of the once numerous drinking establishments that lined Liverpool Street in the 1800s. Today the Brunswick is a multi-faceted Gastro Pub located in the heart of Hobart’s bustling banking district.

The Bruns, as we are fondly known, has a charming dining room located inside our convict-built property offering a modern Australian pub experience with a focus on our award winning parmigiana’ s and pub classics.

Why not split the cost of accommodation with friends this air-conditioned room accommodates up to four guests with your own private ensuite, fridge and tea or coffee facilities and flat screen TV. Wi-Fi Access is available during your stay.

The only air-conditioned mixed gender dorms in Hobart, great for small groups or the traveller who prefers a small, quieter dormitory. This room offers comfortable bunk beds in a neat, clean, & the bathrooms are shared with other hotel guests just down the hall.

Dining Room and Bar
Our Lunch and Dinner menu can be enjoyed across the property in our Bar, Lounge or Dining Room. We focus on Pub Classics and our award winning parmigiana’s with three types of base being available, free range chicken sourced from local supplier Nichol’s Chicken,
Bruny Island Wallaby and Huon Valley Mushroom these can then be topped with a selection of toppings.
